Premio Paolo Borciani, 5-13 June 2021

The 12th edition of the International String Quartet Competition “Premio Paolo Borciani”  will be held from 5 to 13 June 2021 at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia.

The new rules bring the maximum number of participating quartets to twelve. The selections already made for 2020 remain valid, provided that there are no changes or substitutions in the composition of the ensembles. On the occasion of the international competition, the annual assembly of WFIMC, the World Federation of Music Competitions, will be held in Reggio Emilia. The Paolo Borciani Award is created in collaboration with Max Mara, an excellent brand of Italian fashion and one of the main international brands and with the support of Camera di Commercio of Reggio Emilia.
