TheThe 12th International String Quartets Competition Premio Paolo Borciani will be held from June 5 – 13 2021 at Teatro Municipale Romolo Valli in Reggio Emilia.

The 14th edition of the International String Quartet Competition Premio Paolo Borciani will be held at the Teatro Municipale Valli, Reggio Emilia from 29 May to 6 June 2027.
The competition, with Francesco Filidei music advisor, is organized by the Fondazione I Teatri.

The Competition is open to String Quartets of any nationalities.
The combined age of the four members of each Quartet must not exceed 128 years.
Single members can be no older than 35 years old as of June 7, 2024 (included).

The new Application and the required documents must be compiled and sent from Monday, October 9, 2023 and no later than 18.00 (CET), Monday, January 8, 2024.
